The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is celebrating 40 seasons with its very own concertmaster Michael Swan! He’ll take centre stage to perform Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No.1. Conductor Evan Mitchell leads the SSO, and choir, in Christopher Tin’s moving choral work The Lost Birds. Sweeping and elegiac, the performance a haunting tribute to those soaring flocks that once filled the skies, but whose songs have since been silenced.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, join Dress for Success Saskatoon for Aspire 2025 on Thursday, March 13th at The Avenue Room (119 3 Ave S) from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
Join the organization for an evening of canapes, cocktails, local artists, and entertainment to support Dress for Success Saskatoon’s mission to empower women to achieve economic independence.

Enjoy observing woodland songbirds during a guided 1-hour birding walk through the wooded grounds of Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park. This park is adjacent to the Saskatoon Zoo. These walking trails offer excellent viewing and bird photography opportunities.
Both novice and experienced birders are welcome to join this tour to Forestry Farm Park. The leader will point out the field marks used to identify each bird. You may request to borrow a pair of binoculars.
